Centralized control over IP or via Serial connection of all devices

involved into broadcast automation

The devices involved into the automation are divided in two different types. There are

devices controlled via Serial Protocol RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485 and devices controlled

using TCP/IP or UDP/IP Protocol.

The two types can coexist in MediaDevice and they will be both monitored and controlled

by the application.

The management module is run by a multi serial device, like the MOXA NPORT-5650 or

similar.

Regarding devices connected using IP Protocol they need to be connected in the

automation Service network.
